“AERO Campaign MCC & Installments with Scotiabank” Terms & Conditions

The following definitions apply to these Terms and Conditions:

·        “Cardholder” means the primary cardholder of a Scotiabank retail credit card.

·        “Promotional Period” refers to the period from October 1st, 2022 to December 31st, 2022.

·        “Promotion” refers to this promotion and not any of the Bank’s other promotions or programs.

·        “Eligible” refers to qualification to receive an offer to participate in this Promotion.

·        “Eligible Transactions/Purchases” refers to any retail, internet purchase, phone or mail order purchase or Point of Sale transaction completed at Dining and Restaurant Merchant Categories. Eligible transactions / purchases do not include returns/credits, any fees and / or Bank charges. For Trinidad & Tobago cardholders, only local transactions will be eligible.

·        “Cashback Bonus” refers to the credit a Cardholder will receive if spend occurs at Dining and Restaurant Merchants Categories during the promotion period with his/her Scotiabank retail credit card as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.

·        “Net Purchases” refers to purchases minus returns / credits and does not include cash advances, balance transfers, credit card cheques, any fees and/ or finance charges.

·        "Scotiabank" or “Bank” means Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago Limited;

These Terms and Conditions supplement the terms and conditions of your Scotiabank Credit Card Cardholder Agreement (the “Cardholder Agreement”). Capitalised terms used but not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meanings defined and set out in the Cardholder Agreement.

This Promotion is opened to legal residents of Trinidad & Tobago who are 18 years of age or older. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

This Promotion will award Scotiabank Cardholders with the promotional benefits as detailed in the chart below:

Timing of Credit

Scotiabank Cardholders who qualify to participate in this Promotion will receive the above-mentioned Cashback Bonus. The Cashback Bonus will be applied to the Cardholder’s credit card account no later than 90 days after the end of the Promotional Period.

In order to be eligible to receive the above-mentioned Cashback Reward, the Cardholder's credit card must be in good standing and must not have been blocked, frozen, stolen or fraudulently obtained, mislaid, lost or written-off, or delinquent.

This is a limited-time promotion which will run from October 1st, 2022 to December 31^st 2022 inclusive.

·        The Bank reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify for this Promotion.

·        A Cardholder’s Cashback Bonus earned through participation in this Promotion will be forfeited in the event that the Cardholder ceases to be a Cardholder at any time during the Promotion, or where transactions done, using the card, during the Promotional Period are reversed.

In all matters relating to this Promotion, the decision of the Bank shall be final and binding in all respects.

Scotiabank has the right to exclude any individual from this Promotion in its absolute discretion without any obligation to provide notice or reason.

Scotiabank reserves the right in its absolute discretion to vary the terms and conditions of this Promotion or change or withdraw this Promotion at any time without giving any reason. In the event of a dispute arising from this Promotion, the Bank’s decision is final.

These terms and conditions apply only to this Promotion and do not apply to any of the Bank’s other promotions or programs or any other promotion or program in conjunction with the Bank and any other entity or brand.
