Document checklist:

 

  1. Job letter and last 3 months' pay slips 
  2. If self-employed, 6 months of bank statements, receipts or invoices, and last 2 years of tax returns and financial statements (if available)
  3. Two of the following pieces of identification: passport, driver’s license, or ID card 
  4. A utility bill showing valid proof of address, no more than 2 months old [telephone (excluding mobile phone bills), electricity, water, cable]
  5. Confirmation of existing loans, credit card debt, disclosed assets and savings
