Additional measures at branches to help keep customers and employees safe.

Customer interaction counters now equipped with transparent panels.

Last week, we reduced banking hours as well as the number of branches that are open to serve you. Transparent panels have been installed at the counter spaces to help provide a safe barrier while you are conducting your transactions. These additional measures will help keep you and our employees safe.

These panels have already been installed at the following branches:

  • Couva
  • Diego Martin
  • Penal
  • Port of Spain (Independence Square)
  • Scotia Centre
  • San Fernando (High Street)
  • Tunapuna

By week’s end, Chaguanas, Marabella, Maraval and Sangre Grande will also be equipped with the panels.

Please remember we have also reduced the type of transactions that can be done in person, at branches: cash deposits (over $10,000), cash withdrawals (over $ 5,000), wire transfers, fast deposits, limited loan services and purchase of drafts.

If you must visit the branches, we want you to feel safe. This remains a priority for our employees and customers.

We ask customers to consider the elderly and differently abled during the first hour of branch opening. If you must visit, please do so after 9 am at non-mall branches and after 11 am at mall branches.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to adjust to this environment and measures taken to reduce the spread and transmission of the virus.

Please be safe and continue to protect yourself, your families and your communities.
