Once you log in, select “Make a booking”, enter your Passenger Information, Booking Request, Contact Details then, select “Make Booking”. When your request is submitted, an Agent will contact you within 48 hours to confirm the details of your booking.

Then, enter the number of points you would like to convert, fill in your details and click the “Submit” button. Yes, 25,000 ScotiaPoints represents the minimum amount of ScotiaPoints required for airline travel within the Caribbean, Miami, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and New York. It is important to note that ScotiaPoints can only be redeemed towards the airfare portion of your airline ticket and cannot be used to cover the costs of taxes and processing fees associated with the booking of your flight.

You’ll need to cover the balance of your flight costs, not covered by ScotiaPoints. You may do this by purchasing additional ScotiaPoints or by making a payment via any credit card.

Your Economy flight (booked using ScotiaPoints) covers the cost of your airfare only and does not include the costs of taxes or other processing fees associated with the booking of your flight. It also does not include baggage fees.

You’ll need to book your flight a minimum of fourteen (14) business days prior to the intended departure date. 

Adjustments to your flight schedule will need to be made directly with the airline on which your flight was booked. You’re required to cover any costs associated with changes to your original booking. Your ScotiaPoints cannot be redeemed for airline change fees, including those associated with a change in airfare.

Yes, your ScotiaPoints will expire after thirty-six (36) months if your Scotiabank AERO™ credit card is inactive. You should ensure you redeem your ScotiaPoints at least once every thirty-six (36) months and use your Scotiabank AERO™ credit card for maximum rewards.

If the airline cancels your flight and you are given a travel refund by the airline for all or a portion of the airfare, your ScotiaPoints will be refunded to your account at a rate of 100 ScotiaPoints per US$1.50 of travel refund credit. If the airline makes changes to your flight itinerary, you will need to contact the airline directly for alternate options.
