An Automatic Savings Plan (ASP) is a way to steadily grow your savings over time. It allows you to 'pay yourself first'. Through the ASP, a set amount is transferred at selected dates to your destination account. There is no charge to set up an ASP on a Scotiabank account and the amount of the ASP contributions can be changed at any time. Read more about our Automatic Savings Plan.
The Scotiabank Savings Reward Plan (SSRP) rewards customers with bonus interest when they save regularly through an ASP. The bonus interest is based on your ASP contributions over a one-year term; this is over and above our already competitive rate of interest earned on the account. The SSRP is only available on eligible accounts. Please speak to your Scotiabank representative for details and read more about our Savings Reward Plan.
