How to add a transfer recipient.
Add a recipient from Scotiabank or another local bank.
Let's get started.
Follow the steps below.
Step 1 - Launch the app and sign in
Launch the Scotia Caribbean app and sign in. Depending on your security settings, you will need to verify your identity through FACE ID, Touch ID or by entering a verification code, that is sent to your registered email.
You should receive your verification code in your email's inbox immediately. If you don't see it, check your spam and/or promotions folder. If after a couple minutes, it's still not there, click the "Send me a verification code" link.
Step 2 - Go to the Transfer tab
Step 3 - Select "manage recipients"
Select "manage recipients" to setup a new recipient.
Step 4 - Select "add new recipient"
Step 5 - Choose Business or Personal
Choose whether the recipient has a business or personal account.
Step 6 - Enter the recipient's bank details
Enter the recipient's information, including:
- Scotiabank or other bank
- Bank name
- Account type
- Account number
If Scotiabank is selected as the bank at which your funds are being transferred, be sure to select the branch before inputting the account number.
Step 7 - Review and continue
Make sure that you've entered the information correctly and click "continue" to proceed.
Step 8 - Enter the recipient's name
Enter the recipient's first and last name, before tapping "continue".
Step 9 - Add recipient
Tap on the "add recipient" button.
Step 10 - Your recipient has been added
You will receive a confirmation that your recipient has been added.
Need to edit/ update your transfer recipient's account details? Delete the recipient then, add them as a new recipient.
