Building inclusive workplaces at Scotiabank

Expanding health benefits for employees

We recognise that the most important investment we can make is in our employees. Scotiabank is committed to creating a work environment that is safe, fair, inclusive; one that promotes and celebrates diversity. Here in Trinidad & Tobago, we are the first in the industry to extend our medical coverage to same-sex partners of our employees.

Expanding employee resource groups (ERGs)

LGBTQ+ ERGs are made up of leaders and employees at Scotiabank. The group's mission is to enable, engage and energize team members around initiatives in order to create an inclusive and supportive environment for employees, customers, allies, and LGBTQ+ communities.
