Supporting Women who are victims of violence.
During the month of March, Scotiabank donated TTD$20 to The Rape Crisis Society of Trinidad and Tobago (RCSTT) for every Instagram repost of our Campaign vids and/or photos.
Each repost included our Campaign hashtags #SaidBefore #IWD2021 #ChooseToChallenge and must also tag our Instagram page @scotiatt
Our donation will be used by RCSTT to help continue providing free counselling sessions to women throughout the country. The Rape Crisis Society of Trinidad and Tobago is a non-profit NGO, established in 1984. Located in St. James, the Society offers free walk in counselling services to vulnerable persons affected by: Rape, Child Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, and Family Conflicts.
Given the current pandemic restrictions, their services are now offered both virtually and in person. They also provide a 24-hour Hotline service > 627-7273.
