2020 Virtual SWABC,
5K a new way.

10th October 2020.

About this year's event.

Thank you for your support of the Scotiabank Women against breast cancer 5k over the past 22 years. It’s because of you we have been able to help up to 20,000 women with free breast cancer screening. We know that this event means a lot to you and it also means a lot to us that we have been able to raise awareness for breast cancer, a disease that affects so many.

Our new reality means it is unsafe for us to gather in person and as we continue to lead the way in digital banking, it is only fitting that we pivot digital with our flagship event – the SWABC 5k. We’re happy to launch the 2020 Virtual SWABC 5K; a new way!

Everyone is welcome to register and participate. Men, women, children, grandparents, EVERYONE! This year promises to be a memorable one (it already is)! Join us for Yoga, Zumba, High Intensity Interval Training and an event specially planned for our participants with limited mobility (for e.g. using a wheelchair)

Let’s do this!

The 2020 Virtual Scotiabank Women against breast cancer 5k is a new way for supporters to participate in the annual SWABC 5k event.  Due to the restrictions locally as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognise that it is important that we all stay home and stay safe. The cause is still important to us, as such, we are offering both loyal and new participants to join together virtually to support.

The date for the 2020 Virtual SWABC 5k is Saturday 10th October, 2020.

In keeping with the new normal, the event will take place at any remote location that is comfortable and convenient for you … your living room, your back yard, your home gym.  Participants who register will be provided a link to an online platform, where they will receive instructions to participate.

The event this year will be much more than a 5k walk or run.  For the first time, we are offering participants the experience of taking part in various sessions, including Yoga, Zumba, High Intensity Training and Modified Exercises for persons with limited mobility.

Our new reality means it's unsafe for us to gather in person, so this year registration will take place 100% online. Follow @ScotiaTT on Instagram or like our Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago Foundation page on Facebook to find out when Online Registration begins.

The cost to register is TTD$50. You can pay using your Visa Debit Card or Credit Card.
